Wine Women & Shoes at Fuller Craft Museum is a Holiday Sipping & Shopping Extravaganza on Saturday evening December 5, 2009 from 6-9pm. Kick-off the holidays and join us for a sparkling night out with your Sole-Mates! Slip into your sexy stilettos or fabulous flats for a walk-around wine tasting and marketplace featuring vintners direct from Wine Country joining stellar locals. He can leave his wing tips at home and wear his favorite shoes, sneakers, Crocs or boots. A sumptuous tasting menu will be prepared by Fuller Craft Museum’s own artKitchen chef, Jonathan Dunn, to compliment specially selected wines. Just in time for holiday shopping, our retail wine and shoe marketplace will be filled with fabulous items from the most sought-after boutiques, designers and wineries. And best of all, 20% of all marketplace proceeds will go to support the Museum’s exhibition, education, and outreach programs. Keep shopping at Body Bazaar, Fuller Craft Museum’s annual holiday retail showcase, featuring distinctive work by renowned craft artists. (Special discounts await you!) To top it all off, raise your auction paddle and find yourself shopping in Paris, sipping wine in Napa Valley, stocking your wine cellar or building your shoe collection. This critically acclaimed exhibition of contemporary craft was organized by Fuller Craft Museum and features over 100 artists and objects in every craft medium. The Perfect Fit: Shoes Tell Stories is only on view through January 3, 2010 before it goes on tour to museums around the United States. |
