Art ASPIRE

Art ASPIRE (After-School Programs Integrating Residencies and Education) has offered high quality art programming to Fuller Craft Museum’s extensive and diverse community by putting children in direct contact with professional artists currently creating and showing work in New England. Call Megan Kenealy at 508.588.6000 x112 for more information.

Artist Residency
  • Artists work with a consistent group of up to fifteen youth over the course of the residency to provide sequential art instruction in a particular medium.

  • Participating youth receive attentive instruction and a hands-on learning experience that includes exposure to professional materials, techniques and processes.

  • Youth hone important life-skills such as self-expression, discipline, collaborative working and problem solving as they develop their work from inspiration to reality.

Museum Visits

  • Youth are invited, with the teaching artist, to visit the Museum and tour the galleries with Museum Educators.

Annual Exhibition
  • The young artists’ experiences culminate and are celebrated in an annual exhibition of their work at the Fuller Craft Museum.
