Artist Residency
- Artists work with a consistent group
of up to fifteen youth over the course of the residency
to provide sequential art instruction in a particular
medium.
- Participating youth receive attentive
instruction and a hands-on learning experience that includes
exposure to professional materials, techniques and processes.
- Youth hone important life-skills such
as self-expression, discipline, collaborative working
and problem solving as they develop their work from inspiration
to reality.
Museum Visits
- Youth are invited, with the teaching
artist, to visit the Museum and tour the galleries
with Museum Educators.
Annual Exhibition
- The young artists’ experiences culminate
and are celebrated in an annual exhibition
of their work at the Fuller Craft Museum.
